2003 Mazda 6s fix or move on

So I have a 2003 Mazda 6s. I love driving the car. It handles well has some pep and the gearbox is pretty good. The conundrum is that it now needs a clutch. There are other issues also. I have fixed some oil leaks, but the last one requires engine removal. It needs CV shafts. The radio is toast(install kit is 180 bucks) the carpet needs replaced. Every single seat has at least a small tear. The drivers seat is missing two leather panels. One of the side skirts need replaced. It also looks like some repainting was done on the passenger side. The real issue is I want a performance car. I have four children and don't have a lot of cash to spend. I could start on the 6s. I'm not I to concerned with high horsepower, and I'm not anti fwd. I just want a good handling car with decent power that I can take my kids on curvy roads, car events, and they can help me work on. The Mazda will take a good amount of money to not look like a piece of crap. So the real question is...do I start sinking money into my current car or sell it(and the bike) and try to get something with more potential and that's easier to work on?Edit: I have been looking at Mazdaspeed 6 and 3's, rx8's and Acura type S's. I would also like a muscle car but most of them require too much money either to buy or fix. Is there anything else I haven't thought of?Edit: car has 138k and and 3.0l v6 via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2saTIEB
