My fiance and I are planning to fly to the Bay area for our honeymoon the first week of October, where we'll rent a car (likely through Turo) and go on week long scenic tour. My original plan was to drive the PCH, but the closures in Big Sur have thrown a wrench into that.If you had a five to seven days and a car budget of $150/day, what would you do? California is so chock full of great roads that the choices are overwhelming. We definitely want to spend some time on the coast, but then there's Yosemite, and Tahoe, and on and on.As for cars, I'm leaning towards one of the Z4's currently available through Turo. We want a touring-ish car that's fun, manual, and ideally a convertible. The list below is more or less up to date with what's available right now.2000 Porsche 911 Targa $149.002015 Porsche Cayman $142.002006 Honda S2000 $125.002016 Mazda MX-5 Miata $117.002006 Nissan 350Z $88.002011 BMW 135i $81.002013 Scion FR-S $79.002013 Subaru BRZ $63.002005 BMW Z4 $60.002006 Mazda MX-5 Miata $55.002007 Pontiac Solstice $55.002009 Mini Cooper convertible $39.00 via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2sNchuT
