I need to attach a phone charger to my dashboard. It will be affixed to the underside part of my dash so the adhesive needs to be strong enough to hold the charger and phone securely gainst gravity and road vibrations. The dash material is your typical faux leather vinyl. Whatever I use will need to be removed without leaving marks or otherwise damaging the dash.I'm considering strong Velcro strips but I think I'd prefer something that won't be so thick or come loose after repeated removal of the phone. This project and placement is very specific and I'm not looking for suggestions about suction cups, air vents, CD slot mounts, etc. I'm well aware of all the mounting solutions out there. None will accommodate placing the phone where I want it. I do not want a mount that is large, attaches to a window, vent or top of my dash and I do not want any visible wires. For those curious ChargerDashboard (not my pic, but same car)If you look at the interior pic, I want the phone just above the navigation screen. The screen is offset into the dash and there is a deep overhang above the screen. I'll be mounting the charger to the underside of that overhang so that it angles up and above the top of the dash. The charger is in the mail, I'm not sure if the stand is metal or plastic. If the fit or angle aren't right I'll replace the stand with a metal one that fits the bill better. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tv2EEb
