Help me understand the philosophy of healthy car culture (for lack of a better headline)

Hey all,I am interested in hearing the perspective of you guys in the following dilemma, what do you think of it, how do you deal with it, etc, etc:Unfortunately, cars are not like video games where you can drive the one you want until you're bored and then move on to the next one. Cars are a big commitment because you can only afford to get one every 3 years or so, and waste a lot of money in the process. Furthermore, car manufacturers out there are constantly making their cars even more awesome which just off the same year it's incredibly hard to pick a car you'll want to stay with for at least 3 years. How can you decide to go for a mustang for example, knowing that you won't get a Camaro, or an Audi, or a BMW... you get the point. And then how do you stay excited with that choice for the years to come, even harder how do you tell yourself that this is the car you will drive for 12 years (if you can manage to make it that far)?? And how do you ensure you made the right decision out of all those awesome choices out there? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2ujTpE6
