Just as the title, the ZF 8 speed used in BMW and many others brands is widely lauded as a great Automatic Transmission. One of the best many would agree.Yet the ZF 9 speed is nothing but problems. Gear hunting, slow downshifts, noise, reliability issues.What gives? Is it something that is be fixed or is it just a bad design?I know Honda will be replacing the ZF 9 with an in house 10 speed.
