What do you think are the most interesting project cars?

My buddy (who will remain anonymous for this exercise) has a YouTube channel and is interesting in starting a project car. He asked me to poll you guys as to not self promote. He knows a lot about cars, but doesn't have a large knowledge of internal workings of cars. He's also no dummy and can figure things out pretty easily.He knows the usual suspects that are good or popular builds too: miata, 350/370, frs, any honda, m3, wrx/sti, etc. This will only be for the YT channel and wouldn't necessarily be a passion project, though it could turn into one if he enjoys it enough.My question to you guys: what cars would you not only recommend for him to do, but would also like to watch on YouTube because they are 1) interesting and 2) cool?Ready go. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tJFnQ5
