Please help me diagnose issues with 2010 Nissan Sentra

I am helping a friend with their car. I feel comfortable replacing parts, but I still find diagnosing a car quite difficult. I would really appreciate some guidance from this subreddit. The following issues arose after a minor incident after she took a turn to aggressively. I'm unsure about the details, but no major collision. I can get the whole story if it helps. The Issues:A noise that sounds like a triplet when braking and accelerating from a stop. Not the usual noise I hear when I wait too long to do a brake job. What sounds like a grinding/grumbling coming from the engine compartment as I am driving. It happens both when coasting down a hill and when cruise control is set.A similar grinding/grumbling noise when changing from park to drive as brakes are held. Noise does not appear every time. When noise does appear it comes with a greater dip in rpms than usual.More pronounced noise/shake when changing from park to drive.Suspension issuesHere is a youtube link to the noises I heard when accelerating from a stop, when breaking, and the grinding. You can hear the brake noise within the first 5 seconds, and the engine grinding/grumbling starts at 19 seconds. I could not capture the accelerating noise, but it sounds like the braking noiseSo when I go online to diagnose all the noises together the best answer I could find was that bad engine or transmission mounts can cause noise when stopping, accelerating from a stop, and when driving. Sure enough the engine shakes very dramatically when the car shifts from park to drive, and less dramatically when changing back. However, there are some issues with the car that seem suspect to me as well. Possibly more than one cause to the various issues listed above?Additional suspects:What I believe to be the inner CV joint boot seems to be leaking from the insideThe brake pads have plenty of meat, but brake discs might need to be changed. I wanted a second opinion on that. It has fairly even wear, but some light scoring. The shock absorber boots are damaged, but I am told that the boots were damaged before the incident. However, The 2nd & 3rd image should show how oddly the boot on the rear-passenger side has been torn.Is my initial guess about the engine mount correct, or do these other issues possibly play a role? What should be my next step in narrowing down the causes? I would greatly appreciate any help. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2ua7unj
