Older drivers, how did your driving habits / preferences change over time?

How has your taste in cars and driving style changed over time?Occasionally I'll hear that by 35 or so, most men want a more comfortable car and more creature comforts. Currently at 21, I prefer my cars without any infotainment / powered seating / 'luxury' appointments. All I wanted are heated seats and a decent stereo. I like a rough, low ride.I'll also hear that some people 'get tired of shifting' and just get an automatic after a while. I can't see myself doing that for anything but a secondary family vehicle.Another thing is people getting older and driving less aggressively, I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. So, in your experience, which parts turned out to be true? How'd you change over time? Did you tell yourself, 'I'll never drive XYZ!' only to find out that you liked it later in life? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tGZ744
