Not sure if i found the right sub, but, i need mechanical advice on a steering issue.

2001 ford expidetion 4wd 5.8l triton v8 eddie bauer edition.I changed my oil about 2-3months ago. When i was changing the filter, i removed a hose that crossed in front of it. I couldn't tell where it was coming from in the top, but in the bottom it went directly into the pully housing the front serpentine belt is attached to. As soon as i disconnected the hose, pink fluid came rrrushing out. Im 99% sure it was power steering, but i guess it could've been tranny fluid? After reconnecting the hose, the first thing i noticed was the terrible whining while i turned the wheel. There isnt much resistance when turning, just the noise. Also, if im driving 50mph+ and hit any kind of bump the wheel shakes like crazy untill i bring the speed down under 35mph. I checked my power steering fluid (while running and not running) and it's normal. As i said, this started several weeks ago. And as the weeks passed, the whining and shaking happened less and less. Although im not having symptoms as often as i've had weeks ago something still isnt right.I have no idea where to even begin with this situation and any advice is appreciated. Thank you. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2sQqfQX
