Mid-update for the BMW M3 driven with no oil.

I decided to make a small update since a lot of people are curious. I'm going to include a picture of where it was driven to articulate the situation better. Here are the facts though. The car was drained of its oil to prep for its oil change. It was driven from the X on the map I provided to the other building and back. I don't know for sure what the time table that would be but I would assume the run time would be around 2-3 minutes. Things have not been going to my satisfaction with the dealership. The dealership has my car now and they've refused to take the engine apart, or send it to BMW to take it apart. There's been no faults that I can hear, or in the cars drivability to this point. It's had a little over 2 hours of use since oil was added to the engine. What they offered to do was a compression test & to check for scorching and abnormal wear in the cylinder heads? I believe. I don't remember how he told me they're checking for that. I'm not happy as the last post I had people tell me there was almost certain wear internally. I am taking earlier comments advice to do an oil analysis, I'm currently awaiting my test kit in the mail. If it comes back with metal shavings in the analysis, I will have some sort of recourse but there's not much I can do lawyer or otherwise until I can prove damage caused by them, which I cannot at this time. So that's where we are now. I will provide one more update in the future as I know more / do an oil analysis. I appreciate the comments even though some have stressed me out over the last couple days about possible halfing of the engine life, and multiple worn components. But at this point there's nothing more I can do. Edit: I thought of one other fact, it had a new oil filter in it without the oil, so I'm not sure how much of a difference that could have made in protecting the engine with little to no oil in it after a drain. http://ift.tt/2tMxPLn via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2uKmwAK
