M35 stagea motor conversion. VQ expert needed!!

Hi does anyone know if the upper and lower sumps on the vq25de and vq30de are the same? Already removed all the awd stuff from a vq25det sump but starter motor doesnt reach a manual flywheel through the vq25det/350z box combo. Both engines have same stroke at 73.3 so thinking uppet and lower sump are the same bolt pattern. The starter does reach the manual flywheel on the vq30de lower sump.Need a rwd sump for a vq25det to go into a 2wd 4 door v35 skyline. Using 350z 6 speed z33 box and custom tailshaft.Already have both engines and box. Thanks for any advice, experience and or direction to a specific subreddit. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2u1jVWb
