I just discovered my car has a broken coil spring. Is it safe to drive?

Hello, fellow people of /r/cars!I just had my Civic inspected and it was discovered that the front left (driver side) coil spring has a tiny bit (about 5cm or 2 inches) broken off the bottom. It does not affect ride quality in any way and was a complete surprise to me. I've thinking about doing a little road trip of about 300km (180miles) with my friends.Would it be safe/a good idea to drive long distance with the broken spring?
