Have a couple of questions about detailing a car.

I want to detail my 1991 mr2 on my own but never have detailed on my own, ive watched alot of videos out there and read step by step processes. But they never tell you the amount of clay bar/compound/polish or wax that you need for the whole car. how do you get hard to reach places like under the spoiler or near the door window? when your done with one step do you go straight to the next? (clay bar to compound to polish without washing or letting it sink it?) what type of pads do i buy, i went to the store to get pads for a buffer machine but there was a couple of different ones and i couldnt make out witch one they were using in videos. thanks for helping guys :) via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tDqVcd
