Since the 50's, cars have had a distinct style for each decade whether accidental or purposeful. It's easy to tell a 1960's from a 1970's car (free-flowing lines, V8 engine, chrome out the ass vs. long, lean, and brownish orange...and horribly restricted) from an 80's (big, boxy, and the first car electronics) into the 90's (OBDII, oval shapes, emphasis on computerized tech, efficiency vastly improved, plain and gray interiors everywhere). But I've been here since '88 and have enough historical and car knowledge to see that there's not any big, noticeable differences between a car from 2011 and a car from 2017. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2ty2Kus

Could the 2010's be the first decade in sixty years with no real distinct styling differences between the first and last parts of the decade?
