Can someone please explain to me why the F40 is so unanimously considered a beautiful car?

I want to preface this by saying I think the F40 is a brilliantly engineered car and I respect its historical importance in the automotive timeline. First road legal car to 200 MPH. Last car signed off by Enzo Ferrari. Incredible driving dynamics and a great power to weight ratio.I have tried to look at it from every angle. I have looked at the beauty shots of the car. Watched high res videos of the car slow mo drifting and I just...don't get it. What am I missing? It seems so devoid of style. Like a kit car. Or a wedge with a wing.I understand that style is subjective and everyone likes different things, but I just can't see how this car is a "beautiful , timeless design". Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why they find this car so beautiful. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tBUw4x
