After 15 years of messing with it, I have to sell my 1967 Mustang. Need a new project...

I built this car by myself, learning how to do literally everything on my own. Pre-YouTube. Everything from assembling an engine to the upholstery to the wiring and body work.We started with a very basic '67 coupe with a 3-speed and a 289. Cream on tan. Not sexy. My brother and his friends decided to strip the car completely and leave all the screws and parts all over the backyard, unorganized and essentially trashed, so we had to start all over. I think the only thing original left on the car is the frame, and about half the body, otherwise it's brand new. It's got a FR 302, and too many mods to list. The side scoops are off a 68 GT500KR, the hood scoop is from a 429. The best mod I did was to lower the control arm mounting points, just like Shelby did in all of his cars. The lower control arm is literally lowered my about 1" and it changes the entire suspension geometry. Drives great. We also Dyno-matted the entire car. Now when we close the door it sounds like a Lexus, not a tin can.Took some glamour shots, enjoy! http://ift.tt/2tMpWph via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2uKrRI9
