Note: I have no interest or receive any benefit from Dynatec, LLC.I interviewed John Roberts, CEO of Dynatec, last year because I found his story fascinating. (Link to that podcast episode is here: http://ift.tt/2tpoSW9)Well, he lived up to his word and just launched his Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for launching MPG+, a product that he claims will reduce engine wear, increase hp, and boost fuel economy by dramatically reducing engine friction.Does this stuff really work? Who knows. He's done independent testing that shows it has an effect, but I've not personally tried it in my cars. I'm generally pretty skeptical about oil additives, but I'll let the data decide whether this is legit or not. My buddy Otto has volunteered to test it in his 2012 Subaru WRX STi later this month. We're planning on doing a before and after dyno test in real-time to see if it actually makes a difference. I'll post an update once that's done. Here's a link to his campaign: http://ift.tt/2t6mJ3W via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2sGfgJK
