Morning. About 4 months ago I purchased a 1968 Mustang with a 302V8, etc. etc. I was having some performance issues and brought it into a shop. Now the quality of the car is really nice. It is not a show car by any means and I do use it as my daily driver. It is the original engine and every single number in that car matches up perfectly except for the carb. All 8 cylinders have low compression. I'm faced with the question here of do I rebuild that engine and maintain the originality of the car in case I ever, for whatever strange reason decide to sell this one day? Or do I try to stay within budget by replacing that motor all together? I'm slightly intelligent when it comes to maintaining and proper care for an older and simple car like this. But my main interest really is value and dependability hands down. Which makes this whole scenario a toss up for me. So, any input? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2uaYEH3
