I just bought an 06 wrx. Drove it around and it began to overheat. Took it home and now it's burning coolant consistently. Bought the car as is, no warranty. Replaced the radiator, thermostat and the hoses. It will idle at operating temp but as soon as I pull it out of the garage the temp shoots straight up. I'm guessing it's either a blown head gasket or bad turbo seals. I can test the head gasket with a compression and leak tester but I'm not aware of how to test the turbo seals.
