http://ift.tt/2tO2V26, so my 22-year-old Mazda finally has to be replaced; it's only got 220,000 miles, but it's getting hard to find parts, and some of the replacements do not work properly, e.g. aftermarket brake calipers will not hold parking brake tension (the parking brake slips and doesn't work after about 3 uses, until you adjust it again).So, here's what I need:-Size: I don't like huge cars, but I have kids to haul, so I'm looking at small- or mid-sized sedans, SUVs, wagons, hatchbacks, crossovers, etc. No coupes or convertibles.-Engine: I want a 6-cylinder. 8 is OK, too. I would really prefer not to have a 4, and no turbos.-Transmission: Manual. This is not negotiable.-Drive: In order of preference; AWD, FWD, 4WD, RWD.-Brands: Japanese are generally preferred, European will be considered, and Ford is the only American car I would even think about buying.Age: I really don't want more than a 10-year-old car.
