Would a used E90/92/93 M3 make a good first car after college?

I've been looking around at lots of different cars for post-graduation, and I keep getting drawn back to the luxury sport class (M3, RS4, C63, etc.). I think they make the absolute best daily drivers. The M3 is the cheapest of the cars I mentioned above (for a given number of miles, I've only been looking for cars with under 50,000), with the RS4 being the most expensive.Ive heard mixed reviews about the reliability, and horror stories about the cost of service and repairs. I'll be graduating next spring (2018) with a degree in engineering, and have a job lined up already which should enable me to have a budget of around $30,000-35,000 for a car.Is it a bad idea to buy a used car with expensive repairs? The last thing I want is to find myself spending $4,000 on repairs the first year of ownership. But I'm absolutely in love with everything about the M3, and I'm not sure if the love of the car is worth the needless expense.Does anybody have experience with these cars that could weigh in? Thank you. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2u50zwU
