Where to find good used cars?

I know what I'm looking for in a car, I just need a better place to look.I started with Craigslist, it's been nearly two months, looked at 10-15 cars, and doing another 5-7 today. CL isn't cutting it.I've also looked at the Facebook for sale groups. 90% of them are either dealers or people asking $10K with 8 billion miles, nonnegotiable.We've tried the Auto Shopper magazines, but it's mostly used car dealers with flashier rides out of my budget.Am I missing someplace? Is there a golden mecca of used car sales where all the unicorn, pipe dreams cars for picky as hell people like me? I have a high bar for used cars and I'm on a strict tight budget, any suggestions would be helpful, TIA!For reference, looking for $3K or less, SUV/wagon/sedan, under 110K miles, preferred year 2000 or newer, decent highway mileage, and no major physical damage. Willing to put some money into a car, but I'm not rebuilding an engine. Don't have the time, patience, or money for it. I need a daily driver sedan type, but prefer a medium-sized SUV.
