As a car guy I have noticed that in the past 18 months Porsches have been trending non-stop. I can't go anywhere, talk to anyone or listen to anything without hearing about Porsches. Don't get me wrong, I am not hating on Porsches as I am an Audi fanboy who has been through 3 S4s and learned to drive stick on a 996. But this influx of of Porsche talk and sudden wave of people who went from, I don't know shit about cars to, I'm a Porsche guy is really obnoxious.Even in my circle of car friends I am seeing the shift. I have also noticed that this new influx of Porsche guys are in 2 categories. The Magnus Walker type and the OEM type. You have the purist group who want all oem car, all optioned out with that certain wheel package and low miles. Then you have that, been in one accident high mileage Porsche that I'll add an RWB kit to it type. I also understand that this is normal for a certain type of car / style to trend. Hell in the early 2000s it was Trucks for awhile. Maybe I'm all wrong. Maybe I'm hating. Maybe I don't have a clue. But one thing is for sure. Porsches are Trending. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2ttfArR
