Track day melted my Michelin PSS's. Beyond recovery?

I spent a day at the big track at Willow Springs and forgot to lower my tire pressure. My tires, especially fronts, have a substantial amount of melted rubber stuck on now.Is there any way to repair or remove this or are these tires done for? These were fairly new tires.
