Supercars near Montreal?

Hi guys,I live in the outskirts of Montreal, Quebec and my boss was driving down to work when he got passed by roughly 40-50 supercars. He said everyone was going in excess of 180km/h and they were all going on the highway 40W going towards Ottawa.Does anyone have any idea what this was? An event?
