Returning my car off lease. Bad bumper paint job. Really bad. :( how much damage should I expect?

My car is a Mazda 3sport 2014. The bumper is peeling off. Mostly on the low-end part but there's a lot of peeling. I could get it repaired for $700. I have looked everywhere and it's the base price because they have to strip the paint and do a tricoat job.If I wait until the inspection, they will tell me our much they ask for compensation. If I want to get it repaired Instead of paying them, i have to go to the dealership or approved garage ($$$$).
