Removing a choke start, is it possible, and how much work is it?

I'm looking at buying a '90 charade as a little project car to mess around with, but it is a choke start, which is no big problem, however i would be interested in eventually attempting to bypass and remove the need for it, i just have no knowledge on what can be done with it, and can't seem to find much info about it.
