Hi /r/cars, I'm a bit new to the car community and was wondering if any of you guys have attended the PVGP before, and what to expect for a first timer at a car event. Also, looking through the pictures I've noticed that a lot of the crowd seems to be on the older side, with most bringing their families over - so also wondering a little bit about the atmosphere at these events. I'm a college aged guy traveling solo (most of my friends are not interested at all in cars, much less taking a 12 hour drive to go see them), and the meets I've been to look nowhere as legit as this one. Lots of modded Japanese fwd's, and the occasional S2000/Corvette parked somewhere inside, but no real exotics or supercars. Finally, are the ride-along's worth the wait and money? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2t7StFY
