Just changed rack and pinion on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and the Magnasteer is still not working

Before i changed it the magnasteer didn't work, except for one time I put some stop leak in it and it worked the next day. Well after changing the whole rack and pinion, where there are no leaks now, the magnasteer (variable effort steering) still isn't working and I still have the code coming up. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tNYHrY
