As a previous owner of a Pontiac G8 the Chevy SS seems like the obvious choice, however after further looking at the Genesis I may be leaning over towards that side now.I am starting to save up for a down payment when my lease is done with so both cars would be purchased second hand. I drive 15 miles or so round trip to work on a very boring route that is often under the speed limit due to traffic. I like practicality so a full size sedan is where I am at. I currently drive a Ford Fusion and it just feels a bit cramped. My Pros/Cons List:Chevy SS:Pros:Faster due to being about 500 pounds lighterOptional manual trannySportier of the two in the handling departmentCons:Looks plainNot as luxuriousWorse fuel economyMissing some safety/convenience featuresHyundai Genesis/G80Pros:Very good lookingQuiet and comfortablePacked with featuresPotent engineAmazing warrantyCons:Not a sports sedanA wee bit porkyBack seats don't fold downRear seat area is about 4 inches of less legroomI know I am missing a bunch of things here, but if owners of either car could chime in that would be amazing.I loved my G8 to death, but I am leaning on something more luxurious right now with plans to maybe get a dodge challenger or something for the fun car later down the road. My G8 had the basic bolt ons and some suspension work done, but it was getting annoying as a DD being like that all the time. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2rKhVxr
