Have you driven a car (or cars) with a manual transmission SO BAD you wished it had an automatic?

I'm pretty new to driving manual, so I've only driven a handful of manual cars, and none but my own for a significant length of time. And, I will admit, I did drive a couple of cars that I felt had manual transmissions that just felt weird and offputting to me. It's probably mostly due to unfamiliarity, though, not to a dislike of the transmission itself. And I've never (yet) thought, "I'd rather drive this in an auto," except for purely convenience reasons (e.g. too heavy clutch for traffic/commuting).What about y'all? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2soOa7Y
