Gonna get rid of car, do I keep license plate for next car?

Hi, If I'm getting rid of an old car, do I get rid of the license plate as well or do I save it for the next car I get and transfer to it?As for car insurance, I think I remember reading that I gotta pay some kind of fee when you remove the car coverage, guess I'll read about that part on their website, but the above, is harder to find info on. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tCGQV7
