Last year, I bought a Hyundai Elantra. Part of the benefit of buying Elantra was that I receive 3 oil changes for free in a year. Today, I took it for the second oil change. After inspecting the cabin filter, recommended a replacement as he said " it is nasty there". The cost of the replacement - $45. I told him I will change it myself. He warned me that changing the filter myself would void the warranty. That sounded absolutely ridiculous to me. I am planning to call dealership to find out more. Is that even true? Can a warranty be voided by just replacing cabin filter? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2t82uCW
