Tried to DIY restore headlights, but now they look even worse. Help?

I have a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm trying to restore my headlights. While I was applying the clear coat it stared raining, but I was in a garage so I figured it didn't matter. It's been 12 hours and there still very hazy. How can I fix this?Here are some pics via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tWmCbI
