Recently purchased a $500 95 e36 325i. Has battery drain issues and found the starter motor wire to be in disarray as such, think this is the culprit?

Well annoyingly this is my fifth attempt at trying to transition from a lurker to poster, so lets try this one more time, lol. Between getting the car to first start, fixing non functioning tail lights, full brake system replacement, and new rocker-panels welded. Thankfully it's a 5 speed and already has m3 wheels/interior swap(mint Dove White Leather), coils and exhaust/intake. I'm about ready for an inspection after this battery drain fix then onto front window regulators.
