Parents are financing car for me but I live in another state. How do I do this?

My parents are financing a used car for me but I live in another state and I am not a student. What happens? Do they have to pay sales tax in their state or my state? What about registration? They would not own the title since it is financed right? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2vVHFJv
