Do all cars with a Turbo have built internals?

An example would be one of the Ford EcoBoost models. Are they in any way altered from the NA model? I spoke to someone at Ford and he said as long as you aren't running too much boost. You can get away without built internals. Is this true? I ask this because I found out my Fiat 500 Abarth has built internals, while the NA model doesn't. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tFX0zC
