So I'm picking up an RV tomorrow and I'm worried about being ripped off

So here's the deal. He has a sign in his window. I text. He calls and tells me not to text. I tell him I didn't have enough probably. I only wanted to spend a grand. Sounds real excited and tells me about how he ,"put the battery in the wrong side, so you need to pump it" whatever the fuck that means , and that 'the interior needs love'. I ask if a title is needed to own an RV, and he says he doesn't know. He sounds excited, and says he needs cash.
