Question on shipping a car with a funny battery

Hi all, I'm hoping some of you might have advice for how to ship a car with a strange battery problem. My folks live in Hawaii and are getting a new car, and have offered to give me their old one if I pay for shipping it to the mainland. The only problem is that this car's battery has a bad habit of dying if you don't start it every 36-48 hours. No idea why, and I'm kind of an idiot about cars to be honest, but my mom has had to get the battery replaced a few times.Anyway - it would be pretty sad if the car got to California and the battery was dead. The best solution I've thought of is to just get a preemptive AAA membership and call them if the battery's dead on delivery. But maybe there are alternative or ways around this? If you can offer any tips that would be much appreciated.EDIT: The car in question is a 2005 Chrysler Sebring.EDIT 2: The battery for this car is in a horrible spot, it's under the driver's side of the car. You need to remove the tire to access it.... via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tXUSzX
