PVGP

Hi r/cars, I'm fairly new to the car community and am excited to be attending my first official car event, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, next month, and I'm kinda wondering what to expect, and what the atmosphere is like. There wasn't a huge automotive scene around where I grew up, and the few shows we had around the area were mainly made up of modded Japanese fwd's and the occasional S2000/Corvette showing up. The crowd, on the other hand, was on the younger side so that might have explained the high hooning-to-performance ratio (and tbh probably kept some of the older crowd, who could afford exotics, from attending...)One main concern of mine is getting Paris Syndrome, as there doesn't seem to be much for a college-aged guy to do there. Looking at the pics of the PVGP, it looks mostly older men will be there. I won't lie - cars are really cool but for a 12 hour drive I kind of want to hear about their stories and the people who have worked with them, too. I'm also driving out the same day I'm attending so I probably won't be able to barhop around the area, so I'm wondering from some of you automotive veterans, what will it be like? via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tGE6pA
