I have been considering purchasing an OBDII device to use with my iPhone 6S and couldn't find any answers to these questions anywhere else so I figured I should ask here before buying one and getting disappointed.What level of data does an OBDII device read? I have seen apps like DashCommand that display mph but I wasn't sure if this was just calculated from the GPS or if it was actually taken from the speed sensor.
