Keep Audi A3 1.8TS "8L" ('01, 180hk, aut) or move onto something else when I can?

So I've had this Audi A3 for a while & am probably performing a minor surgery tomorrow, installing a nicer exhuast than stock. Other than that, I'm gonna do a minor paintjob costing $250~.This car has only run for 115000KM. It is the "double clear rear backlights" facelift one.IF I'M GONNA KEEP IT, I'm gonna buy new wheels & tires (around $800), nothing fancy, just good enough looking to lift the looks. I can also perform a step 1 trim, to get 210HK.It's not a Very cheap car to drive. I have a 7~min drive to work, that's the most of the driving I do, 1~L/100km. But I want a somewhat fun car "that is capable of doing a pass on the freeway without issues".If I'm not gonna keep it, I'd fix the paint & try to sell it & pay for the small loan that's on it.If I buy a new car, I'll go for a Golf, GTI or GTD. Which would cost around 10,000ish USD & be a loan with some saved money put into it.Why I'd want a new car is because it'd be a bit more trustworthy on long rides. This audi doesn't have a cruisecontroller nor any usb or aux etc. BUT the A3 with 180hk is still a pretty fun car.The audi costs about $100~/month, excluding fuel.So I need to make a decision here. What do you guys think? Any other info needed to help make the decision, I'll provide. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2tXl91h
