Took home my first brand new car, 2017 Nissan Altima last Friday. I actually want to keep my car nice and clean now that I care a lot more about it. My other older cars I usually just took to a car wash because I wasn't too concerned with it, as long as it didn't look filthy. No way I'm doing that with this car now.Any recommendations on what kind of soap and what not to use for washing? Is a regular big sponge alright to use on it or should I use something else? I had a big ole bird crap on it on like the second day so I went and bought some Meguiars wash spray and some microfiber clothes to keep in the car for when something like that happens. Thinking of trying to wash / clean it every week or two.
