I've inherited a 2005 Infiniti g35 Sedan RWD. Wat are my options considering it doesn't run, or start?

I recently inherited a 2005 g35 from a family member. The car broke down on her after she heard a "loud bang" on the way back from work. A bit of oil came out the bottom when I was putting it onto my trailer, but the most telling thing I heard her say was, "I can't remember the last time I had an oil change." So I knew it was probably junk-worthy.The condition of the red car is moderately poor. There's various scratches on the hood, and dings on the doors. One of the windows (back seat passenger) does not roll down. The interior isn't much better, but it does have leather seats, and navigation. I guess with some cleanup it could be a decent looking auto if I could actually get it on the road. It's mine now though. Title and all, and I've never been a position to try and sell or fix a car that may or may not be completely busted. I'm not a mechanic, or hugely car savvy, so do you experts have any tips on what my options are? Maybe there's a process I can follow to get this thing back in action, or maybe it'd be easier to junk it? Trade it in?I'm in no rush, it's parked safe in my yard for now, so time can be an asset if need be. I'm genuinely curious about what my options are, and if I can get some $$$ out of something that otherwise isn't doing anything but sitting there. Thanks for your responses! via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2t3LiPr
