Is this a type of scam?

So recently I've been in the market for a new car, and I recently found a car that was to my liking for a pretty absurdly low price from what I can tell (not really a car guy, but this was red flag 1). I emailed about the car and here is the response I got."Hello,I got ur reply to my 2010 Mazda 3 i Sport ad and i confirm that the car is still for sale for $4000The car is a 2010 year model with only 120000 kms, automatic transmission, gasoline fuel type.with all power options. Super Clean 1-Owner in perfect condition , very clean inside and out! Never been in an accident, Cert.E.TestPower windows, Power doors, A/C, and much more....I'm getting rid of my car because i no longer use it since i went abroad for archaeological research where i'll be living for 2 long years and i left the car to my brother who was keeping it since a few months but he called me a few days ago saying that he's moving to New york and he can't any longer keep my car.I don't have anyone else around who will be keeping it for me for all those long years so i decided to sell it quickly at a low price to get rid of it.So i intrusted the car to a sales rep who's a private truck driver and he's handling the sale and the delivery as well.I told to the truck driver that i found someone who's buying it since u emailed me that u are interested in the car and he's requesting ur house address so that he will transport the car and all its paperworks(Ownership,Seller's package,Bill of sale) to ur door with no cost at u and once the car is at ur home you will test drive it,check the papers with the ministry of transportation and if u find everything ok then u will take the car and settle the payment of the $4000 cash on the spot to become the new owner of my beautiful car.So get back to me with ur following infos below and i'll forward them to the delivery guy and he will get in touch with u to set up a time for the delivery and the car will be brought to u asap:Full name:............../City:................./Postal code:................./House address:................./Phone #:..................I'll be waiting to hear from u asap."This almost seems too good to be true. Everything is much too convenient. Should I bite the bullet and email back and test drive the car all the way to a mechanic for a pre sale inspection? Is there any stage in this where I could be scammed? I'm not a car guy so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.Andriy via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2sicnK6
