A local Porsche Club of America chapter held their annual "IROC" (I love the irony) autocross at Spartan Speedway in Mason, MI. I won my class (S2) again but was only able to manage 2nd for Fast Time of Day, unlike last year when pulled off the dual trophy win. I was beat out by a friend who was driving a chipped, tuned and pulley-modded 2013 Audi S4 on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's. So objectively I know there's no way I could win, but being a competitive person, it still doesn't sit well with me. But he's a good driver so he earned it. My car (2005 Porsche 997 C2) was on Toyo Proxes 1's, FWIW.Here are some pictures of the event. Hope you enjoy. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2sdwVDe
