First time changing oil on new car

...And when I unscrewed the bolt, it fell off my hand, on to the pan. Now since that happened I don't know if it had a rubber gasket on it or not. I noticed that after I put the bolt back on, it is a little runny . I can see oil around the bolt. Is that normal? I was really careful when screwing the bolt back on and I'm 100% sure I didn't cross thread it or anything. Will it seal itself 100%?It was one of those drain bolts with copper in between the top of the threat and the head of the bolt. Thanks! via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2s1McvU
