Another car review, the Vauxhall Corsa, and Vauxhall/Opel as a whole. What do you think?

The Vauxhall Corsa The Corsa kept on perfectly from where the nova left off, I'm talking mostly about the Corsa C here (the second one) the 'boy racer' car or as I like to put it, a right dicks car, yeah everyone loves a good race but mate come on, with that spoiler and the that cherry bomb exhaust you just look like a twat.I'll have to admit it I owned a Corsa, it was shit. Only cost me £120 but I couldn't leave my home town because the oil light would come on and the timing chain was more rattley than my nans teeth. Oh and the fuel pump had a mind of its own and so on.In fact I'm going to make a statement and you might disagree but I don't care. Vauxhall has gone tits up. There I said it. All there cars in the last 15 years have been utter shit. We've had insignias in for horrible things, usually oil pump and timing chain related. Don't even get me started on the Vivaro van, the scourge of the garage trade. Especially the 2.0 cdti which enjoys to cease its injectors into the cylinder head so you think you need a new injector because your van won't start? WRONG, cylinder head and it will cost you upwards of £1000 to fix, but this is about the corsa, one last thing though. Were they ever that good? Vauxhalls as a whole I mean.Supposedly they made a bulletproof Diesel engine back in the day but my first memory of breaking down was in a mk3 Astra and nothing's changed! Why can't you make good cars?!? Anyway the Corsa's I see at the garage have mostly the same issues, head gasket leak or issues with the timing chain, whether the timings jumped or the tensioner has collapsed. Both very bad things and I'm not talking 2005 models like mine, I'm talking 2012 and even newer! Nope that's it I'm done talking about them, the corsa deserves a 1/5 rating. You piece of shit. via /r/cars http://ift.tt/2u5Ht9O
